Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply

Educational Qualification

You must hold an Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation, recognised by the Board of Technical Education, UGC, AICTE, or an equivalent authority. Importantly, your graduation must have been completed on or after 1 September 2023 — candidates who passed out before this date are not eligible to apply, regardless of their marks or branch.

Minimum Marks Required

UR / OBC-NC candidates: minimum 60% aggregate marks across all semesters/years of your engineering degree.
SC / ST / PwBD candidates: minimum 50% aggregate marks across all semesters/years.

Age Limit

You must be between 18 and 25 years old as on 31 July 2026, with standard age relaxation applicable for SC/ST, OBC-NC, and PwBD candidates as per government norms.

Prior Apprenticeship or Work Experience

Stipend and What You Actually Receive

This means your engineering degree percentage is effectively your entire application — there’s no separate test to prepare for, but it also means there’s no way to improve your chances through last-minute exam prep.
